Jamal Peoples

Jamal Peoples brings an impressive blend of experience, expertise, and to the world of wine and cuisine. His career spans over 20 years in the Restaurant/Hospitality industry in some of the top restaurants in Atlanta, Georgia and Los Angeles, California. Jamal started his career at the Disneyland Resorts Hotels in Southern California, eventually becoming a General Manager at the resort. Jamal served as GM of several of Disney’s restaurants within the Disneyland Hotel and Paradise Pier Hotel. He was also on the opening team of the Californian Adventure/Grand Californian Hotel project as one of the four Beverage Council directors for the resorts.

A lover of wine, Jamal is recognized as a second level Certified Sommelier by the Court of Master Sommeliers and working towards achieving Master level. His successful wine dinners and wine list awards are well known throughout the resort and restaurant communities in both Orange County and Atlanta. Several restaurants have reaped the benefits of having Jamal create and improve wine lists resulting in Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast awards for the last 8 years.

As an advanced trainer in the industry, he commands the respect of his peers and is a guest service pro. Jamal’s personal high standards for customer service inspire the greatest level of commitment to the guest experience in everyone he mentors. Teaching and tasting are his specialities.

Jamal combines his excitement for modern culinary culture, his joy of hospitality, and his deep respect for the history of food and beverages to create not just memorable dining experiences but unforgettable culinary events.

Alvin Brantley Jr

Alvin Brantley Jr. is a 10 year industry professional. His personal story is inspiring and extremely motivating to say the least. Originally from Flint, MI he relocated to Atlanta in order to change the trajectory of his life. Leaving behind a troubled past, he was determined to do whatever it took to change his circumstances instead of accepting them for what they were. He got his start in fast food and his attitude, character and work ethic eventually landed him in the fine dining sector of the hospitality industry.

Never one to be satisfied with his personal achievements, he realized that wine knowledge was something that he lacked and would add more value to his professional service and hospitality. With the childhood nickname, “Alvino” – “Vino” for short; it seemed like destiny. After years of self study, he is recognized as a Certified Sommelier by the Court of Master Sommeliers. His next challenge is becoming an Advanced Sommelier through the Court.

Vino has trained hundreds of servers as he made his ascension in the industry. He’s used the wealth of knowledge he’s accumulated to create Fine Dining Professional LLC where he consults other servers on how to break into the fine dining sector of the industry.

With a passion for customer service, he enjoys bringing people together with food and wine and ensuring that everyone has a great time.
